Cupping Therapy

SERVICES

What is Dry cupping?

Dry cupping therapy is a form of traditional medicine that originated in China and West Asia. People have practiced this method for thousands of years. It is a non-invasive treatment used for a range of conditions by increasing blood circulation at the point of the injury.

How does it work?

It is performed by placing plastic or glass cups on an area of the skin. The air inside the cup is then suctioned or vacuumed out and left on the skin for around 5 to 10 minutes. The body replenishes the cupped areas with healthier blood flow and stimulates proper and normal healing at a cellular level.

What is it used for?

  • Muscle and joint pain (including rheumatoid arthritis)
  • Increasing range of movement
  • Breaking down knots and adhesions
  • Acute and chronic conditions
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Sciatica
  • Stress and anxiety
